Job Description

As an Associate Desktop Support Technician on our IT Support team in our San Diego headquarters, you’ll work with customers in a fast paced environment, among a team of motivated and independent team players.  This is the perfect opportunity for you to expand your technical experience in Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting mobile devices, workstations, sounds systems, printers, IP Phones, projectors, and video conferencing systems.  You’ll also have the opportunity to work directly with our Infrastructure & Application teams to support internal customers.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Install and configure Windows based workstations
  • Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot a variety of desktop hardware and software
  • Provide end user support for all Lan based applications: Exchange 2013, Office 365, SAP, MS Office 2010 - 2016, Okta, and custom mobile applications
  • Be part of an on-call rotation that includes after hours and weekend support
  • Work with team members in a call queue to service customers
  • Work with and support company events, quarterly & annual meetings, and vendors
  • Deploy updates/patches with workstation management tools 
Basic Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of related technical experience
  • Experience working in a call center environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and thorough knowledge of Office 2010/2013
  • Experience with a Help Desk ticketing system providing support for common corporate client-side technologies, including wired/wireless networks, VPNs & security tokens, WiFi/broadband technologies, collaboration tools (Instant Messaging, Web Conferencing, Video Conferencing), A/V devices (projectors, presentation boards, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal/relationship building and written skills, with ability to explain technical matters in non-technical terms
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates Degree
  • Experience in advanced troubleshooting
  • Onboarding and Offboarding experience
  • Working knowledge of Service Now
