Job Description

The Associate Analyst, will work within NuVasive’s Pricing and Contracts team with responsibility for consistent implementation of NuVasive’s pricing strategy and support  of our Sales team’s contracting efforts.  This includes operational and analytical support towards all facets of contract and pricing implementation.  In this role, you will support NuVasive’s Sales team and the Pricing Analyst by helping to gain account access on NuVasive favorable terms in support of revenue & profitability objectives, including:

 
  • Work with Sales Management and the Pricing & Contracts team to gather necessary pricing and business term approvals
  • Prepare and provide pricing suggestions and guidance to Pricing Analyst and Sales Management
  • Prepare and analyze market share data, historical sales data and competitive pricing analysis to identify and develop customer pricing strategies and models
  • Provide assistance to the sales team and Pricing Analyst by becoming an expert on NuVasive products, hospital affiliations, and pricing strategies
  • Prepare pricing Agreements on time and with 100% accuracy
  • Negotiate both terms and conditions and pricing directly with customers as needed to get resolution on Agreements
  • Work with sales and hospital personnel to gather necessary signatures and acceptance of Agreements
  • Work with the Pricing & Contracts team to ensure pricing discrepancies and other related issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the Pricing Team and Pricing Analyst to coordinate implementation of Agreements
  • Prepare Agreements and price files for the sales team
  • Load pricing into SAP
  • Communicate effectively within all levels of the organization
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and tasks as needed

  • 1-3 years related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Intermediate user of MS Office Programs (specifically Excel and Access)
  • Excellent analytical skills 
Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP experience preferred
