Under the direction of the Quality Engineer Manager, supports the efforts of the Instrument Servicing team to ensure daily customer and demand priorities are set and met. Ensures the instrument repair activities are in compliance to departmental/corporate policies and procedures. The Surgical Tool Technician will also ensure all related documentation is compiled and compliant per corporate and department requirements and will also support the efforts of the team in following established procedures to evaluate and repair medical devices, supplier documentation, and record data.

Focus on quality work and craftsmanship. 
7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in related function
  • Experience is regulated environment (e.g. FDA QSR, ISO 13485, etc.)
  • Aptitude with shop equipment such as hand tools and basic conventional equipment, as well as, test equipment such as calipers, micrometers, plug/thread gauges, and optical comparator.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of device manufacturing, assembly, and finishing. 
  • Laser etching/marking experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in manufacturing/quality.
  • Microsoft office, Word, Excel
  • Focus on quality work and craftsmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in a related field, preferred.
  • SAP experience helpful
