Job Description
Join the NuVasive Global Operations Team this Summer as a Field Logistics Intern. There are 2 positions available for this role. This opportunity will help you grow in your career and we will provide training and mentorship as you hone your skills and build confidence. During this internship, you will also have an opportunity to:

  • Work in coordination with Logistics Manager to plan daily logistics for case coverage and logistical execution
  • Applies principles, concepts, practices and standards of a professional field to complete a variety of on-going assignments and projects
  • Work on problems of moderate scope; exercises judgment and independently identifies next steps
  • Analyze quantitative information and applies professional judgment to resolve a variety of moderately complex problems
  • Builds productive internal/external relationships; actively represents area in inter-departmental projects
  • Impacts team effectiveness through the quality of own work and potentially the work of others
Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • In pursuit of a Bachelor’s in Logistics, Operations, or similar discipline
  • Must be currently enrolled in school with a successful completion of 2 years of undergraduate studies (minimum of 60 credit hours towards Bachelor’s degree)
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Ability to provide college transcripts as well as a letter of recommendation from a faculty member
  • Candidates are responsible for their own housing and transportation during the internship 
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in SAP
  • Requires a broad knowledge of the organization’s services and products
  • Requires in depth knowledge of the sales cycle
  • Must be very detail and process oriented
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills, service oriented, and self-directed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Detailed coordination of complex operations involving many factors (people, facilities, supplies)
