Job Description

The Quality Technician is responsible for any activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.  Investigate and confirm non-conforming conditions by utilizing standard inspection devices.  Generate controlled documents to be reviewed by MRB and coordinate execution of the disposition.   Review/analyze data and documentation for Quality managed systems.  Primary support functions include inspection of implants and instruments, maintenance of quality records, analyzing and solving problems for the inspection team, and administration of quality systems such as Non-Conforming Material Reports, Repair Action Plans.

Basic Qualifications

-      1 to 3 years experience in related function

-     Experience in regulated environment (e.g. FDA QSR, ISO 13485, etc.)

-     Basic understanding of good documentation practices and record retention strategies

-      Aptitude with test equipment such as calipers, micrometers, plug / thread gages, and optical comparator

-      Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications

- Working knowledge of SAP
- Experienced with advanced vision systems for inspection
- Great communication skills
- 5S skills for managing work flow
- Some skills with lean processing or manufacturing processes
- Basic knowledge of 6 sigma analysis
