Job Description
Provides leadership and technical expertise to junior resources and conducts business blueprint and design sessions. When assigned to large projects can demonstrate leadership and accountiblity for not only their work but the team’s work.  Assumes responsibility for key functional area(s) and interacts with senior business and IT personnel. Leads analysis of business processes and how they operate to ensure that IT systems and other technologies used are adequate for an organization to support business operations.   Conducts research on existing business support systems and identify problems. Detects software and hardware problems in computer and business systems.   Develops and designs system solutions that address and resolve business problems and issues. Documents business requirements, translates such requirements into technical/system requirements, and configures business and computer systems to meet such requirements. Participates in system design and User Acceptance Testing to determine efficiency and ability of solutions to meet company needs. Acts as key liaison between business and technical teams during the SDLC.

Responsibilities include:

· 20 % of time - Provide leadership to junior resources and interact with Senior Level Management and Project Management to provide project status updates.

· 25% of time - Lead business Blueprint Sessions, translate business requirements into system requirements, and develop system solutions/designs to meeet business requirements.

25% of time - Configure/setup system per business requirements and lead Unit and UAT testing efforts.

Additional Responsibilities:

10% of time - Responsible for Documentation and delivery of Business Blueprint and other critical documents.

10% of time - Facilitate problem/issue resolution.

15% of time - Provide guideance/input for open Production issues

Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485.
Basic Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other relevant major, plus one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:
Proficient and accurate with word processing (Word), spreadsheets (Excel), flow charting (Visio) and business process mapping, and graphs. Understands the importance of a User Knowledge Base and will works to upkeep and maintain it. Competent in seeking solutions to ERP questions by various methods. 

Language:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, company policy and procedure manuals. Ability to write business reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, and management of organization. Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills. 

*Must be fluent in English and Japanese.*

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Preferred Qualifications
Japanese & English language fluency is required (written and verbal).

Experience in SAP Business One ERP preferred (or similar ERP).

Graduate level degree or experience preferred.
