Job Description

·         Develop complex web applications using Microsoft .Net MVC and Web API, HTML, Javascript, jQuery and Angular

·         Provide input to assist in development of project and staffing plans based on your strong understanding of technical solutions

·         Understand business requirements clearly and translate those into technical tasks with realistic timelines and clear success criteria, meeting architectural standards that you help develop

·         Able to lead technical project implementations – provide estimates of resources and time, contribute to architectural design, perform code reviews, mentor junior developers

·         Mentor junior team members to improve quality of code and pace of team output

·         Drive process improvements in the software development lifecycle

Basic Qualifications

·         Strong OOP fundamentals

·         3+ years of C# web development

·         Strong working experience with MVC, Web API

·         Strong HTML/CSS understanding – you’re not a designer, but you can implement a design with clean, standards-compliant code

·         Strong Javascript skills – preferred experience with MVVM framework such as Angular, React, Vue, Knockout, etc.

·         Strong understanding of SQL, preferably T-SQL

·         Strong understanding of design patterns

·         Experience with Agile/Scrum

·         Experience with integration to other systems (consumption of external APIs, messaging platforms, etc.)

·         Ability to prioritize tasks across projects, work independently, and achieve objectives with limited supervision

·         Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members from across the IT department

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience with javascript task runners and build utilities such as Gulp, Grunt, Bower, Yeoman, Node, etc.

·         Experience with build and deploy systems

·         Experience developing scalable architecture and deploying to cloud infrastructure
