Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities

Based on your level of manufacturing experience, we provide hands-on training and support to help you build the skills you need to succeed

As a Post Processing Tech you will operate a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's products. You will be responsible for finishing/assembly operations to ensure quality products are produced. Work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks. Check and inspect operation results against predetermined tolerances. Assist in driving best practices and create open communication across all teams to foster a collaborative, high-functioning culture.

  • Understand setup and final assembly instructions
  • Processes product through various processes to ensure the highest quality parts goes out the door
  • Follows the router protocol to ensure the product moves through channels efficiently
  • Follows standard applications in order to achieve dimensional integrity and required finish characteristics including repair and rework of parts
  • Works from drawings and work instructions to plan the finishing/assembly or re-work to be performed
  • Drives quality compliance by documenting results, and by using workmanship standards and 5S principles
  • Assists with expediting and facilitating products to help ensure on-time delivery.
  • Ability to lead team meetings and provide direction.
  • Assists with ensuring that team members follow defined procedures and comply with quality requirements.
  • Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues and offer viable solutions.
  • Performs and adheres to the internal audit schedule and maintains documentation.
  • Provides team awareness of day-to-day production throughput against stated capacity targets.
  • Takes an active interest in continuous self-improvement, training, and development.
  • Works positively with all support functions to fully define the processes and procedures relevant to team activities.
  • Provide support and input for continuous improvement within the team.
  • Provide support and encouragement for promotional opportunities within the team.
  • Communicate with other departments and ensure an effective interface is maintained.
  • Support, promote, and adhere to Health & Safety regulations, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.

Required Skills / Capabilities
  • Experience of leading small group activities to drive improvement ideas.
  • Strong PC skills and experience of packages (Purchasing Information System (SAP) and Excel, Camstar)
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques (5S, GDP, HPWT).
  • Knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety regulations and responsibilities.
  • Work independently, reviewed infrequently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a variety of activities.
  • Able to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with all shareowners.
  • Understanding and interest in all people-related processes and procedures.
  • Understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality.
  • Understanding production costs include waste, downtime, scrap, and re-work.
  • Provides guidance and serves as a technical resource to others.
  • Perform duties in compliance with applicable FDA and state regulations as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485
