Job Description

NuVasive Clinical Services is looking for a Project Coordinator to assist administering, organizing, and supporting the organization’s key projects. Project Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with other project managers and leadership to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, such as maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you’ll collaborate with business partners and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.

  • Participate in other cross-functional process improvement projects as necessary
  • Analyze the business objectives of various stakeholders in the company, outline and develop a solutions plan, and work with management and development resources to prioritize accordingly
  • Coordinate projects and requirements across separate technical and functional teams to ensure effective delivery of solutions
  • Build project plans and execute on project delivery following project management methodologies
  • Build PowerPoint presentations for both department and executive meetings
  • Participate in business reviews and building the project roadmap
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
  • Help prepare budgets
  • Discuss and document business processes
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Hard worker, self-starter and team player
  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and an analytic mind
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word
  • Experience in data analysis
  • An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Institute – Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Knowledge of project management & requirements gathering
  • Experience with one or more business functional areas (Finance/Accounting, Sales/Distribution, IT, etc…) from a prior job
  • Experience in managing budgets and a knowledge of basic financial concepts
  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT, Business Administration, Finance, Project Management or a related field.
