Job Description

Responsible for managing the Material Master, Vendor Master, Source of Supply, Purchasing Info Records, Bill of Materials & Manufacturing Router workflows to gather, load and maintain master data within SAP. 

  • Review and process all incoming workflow tasks on a daily basis
  • Reviewing the request data for accuracy as well as potential conflicts with existing data in SAP
  • Verify that standards are being followed for the addition of new records, extending of new and existing records per defined matrix and SOPs
  • Create, audit, and maintain the Material Master, Vendor Master, Source of Supply, Purchasing Info Records and Set Configuration
  • Analyzing master data for accuracy and improvements
  • Reviewing existing data rules for accuracy and identifying new data rules to increase the accuracy of all relevant master data
  • Document audit results and seek resolution to master data issues or processes and communicate audit results and resolution to the business users and appropriate management
  • Assisting with master data projects and training
  • Identify opportunities for data and information architecture improvements
  • Helping internal customers understand what master data is and where different Material Master, Vendor Master, Source of Supply, Purchasing Info Records and Set Configuration data components are stored in SAP
  • Assisting with data conversions related to acquisitions and ERP implementations
Basic Qualifications

  • Strong statistical, analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Experience working with high volume, detailed data in a high accuracy environment
  • Experience in root cause analysis
  • Experience creating reports to identify outlier data
  • Experience creating Standard Operating Procedures, process documentation, and training materials
  • exposure to project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Microsoft office skills required for success in this position
Preferred Qualifications
  • APICS certification
  • SAP experienced in MM, WM, PP, and SD Modules
  • Sharepoint workflow experience
  • Bachelors degree
