Job Description

This person will report to Global Consolidation manager and be primarily responsible for revenue, gross margin and P&L reporting. He/she will work closely with the global finance team members to ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting of financial information.


Essential Responsibilities


Consolidation & Reporting:

  • Provide support to VP of Global Finance for the weekly revenue forecast and business reviews.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the global finance team members to ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting of financial information.
  • Support Global Consolidation manager with global gross margin and P&L reporting.
  • Help to coordinate and support quarterly forecast and annual budget process.
  • Support month end process and reporting.
  • Provide assistance in preparing presentations to Leadership team by creating “tailored” reports and analysis.
  • Ensure alignment between local, analytical and reporting financial tools
  • Ad-hoc projects

Process and data analysis:

  • Key member of the finance team with excellent understanding of financial processes and very strong working knowledge of systems and data warehouse.
  • Highly organized to complete multiple deliverables on required timeline and attention to data accuracy.
  • Continue to develop insights into data trends and business to enhance actionable and accurate information for decision support.
  • Intellectual curiosity with a goal of continuous process optimization and improvements.

Teamwork

  • Ability to build strong working relationships and to collaborate with all levels of management.
  • Ability to work independently under general supervision.
  • Experience working with dispersed, multinational team is a plus.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Financial Planning & Analysis experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent command of systems - Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Financial Consolidation and Analysis systems (Essbase, TM1, BPC, Cognos)
  • Resourceful and enjoys problem solving
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical device industry experience
  • Qualified Accountant RA, AA, CPA, ACCA, ACA (or local equivalent)
