Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily activities and supervision of operations, including distribution activities, customer service and invoicing.  Provides leadership and direction of distribution and other activities on a daily basis. Fosters a culture of teamwork and drive processes that sustain continuous improvement in safety, service, quality, and cost measures.


  •       Manages the operations team in meeting key business metrics around cost, quality, safety and service
  •       Manages the operations team to achieve operational excellence and Customer Service standards
  •       Provides hands on assistance to the operations team to ensure productivity measures are met and maintained
  •      Provides each shareowner with a comprehensive development plan that works with each shareowners goals and ambitions for future career development
  •      Provides leadership to all shareowners through motivation to meet and frequently exceed company standards
  •      Carries out operational improvements to meet quality, productivity and cost measures
  •      Manages back-office related  logistics / operational and customer related issues and escalations

Required Skills / Capabilities
  • Proven leadership and team building experience including the ability to effectively drive change to drive the business forward
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization
  • Training and/or experience in Lean Principles, Six Sigma, and 5S

Education and Experience
  •       Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent experience
  •       Significant Medical Device manufacturing/warehouse experience


For roles that require access to hospital facilities, must be eligible for and maintain credentials at all required hospitals, including meeting any applicable physical requirements or vaccination requirements (including the COVID-19 vaccine, as applicable).
