Our Global Implant Development team focuses on the design of complex interbody implants, instruments, and retractor systems, that utilizes extensive knowledge of mechanisms, engineering practices, mathematics, material science, and other physical sciences to create implant and instrument systems designed for use in the OR.
As Project Engineer on our development team, you'll utilize your experience in mechanical and/or biomedical engineering to devise innovative mechanical product solutions to meet surgeon needs and design specifications, from concept to commercialization. Working on cross-functional teams to manage the product development process, project timeline and deliverables is key to this role, as you’ll often interact with other internal teams, including marketing, purchasing, regulatory, quality, research and testing, and machine shop, to ensure designs comply with applicable FDA and state regulations, as well as standards including, but not limited to, ISO 13485.
This position can be located in our San Diego, CA or Raleigh, NC offices.
