As a Sr Manager, Facilities you will manage the design, planning, construction and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities. Plan, budget, and schedule facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs. Design and develop organizational policies relevant to the facilities department. Oversee the coordination of building space allocation and layout, communication services and facilities expansion. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manages onsite-physical security infrastructure Manages architects, engineers, project management and construction teams during all phases of the project to ensure timely completion in compliance with all building and safety regulations
  • Prepares presentations, real-time costs and other information necessary so that proper decisions can be made at the executive and board of director level when required
  • Obtains necessary permits and licenses during the course of the project(s)
  • Performs duties in compliance with all applicable Federal, State and Local building codes and in accordance with all OSHA regulations and guidelines
  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
  • Oversees project and construction activities for projects of varying size and scope
  • Supervises all design, engineering and construction activities from project inception to completion


Required Skills / Capabilities

Required Skills / Capabilities

  • Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customer relations
  • Expertise using Microsoft Project
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to lead directly and through influence
  • Proven work experience in construction and project management with advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods



Education and Experience

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent experience
  • Preferred experience in construction management, architecture, engineering, management or related field
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Electrical Engineering Technology



Travel and/or Physical Requirements
  • Able to walk for long periods of time around a 100,000 sf facility
  • Ability to climb ladders to access the roof
  • Night and weekends will be required as needed for emergency response
