Job Description

As an integral part of NuVasive’s Strategy & Product Development team, our Sr. Administrative Assistant will work directly with internal and external customers and executives.  This position will support 3 senior leaders directly.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the daily schedules our product development leadership team 
  • Prepares materials for executives including proofreading presentations, printing and copying materials needed for meetings and similar administrative support as needed
  • Coordinate frequent domestic travel arrangements and international travel arrangements as needed
  • Maintain high level of data sensitivity and be responsible for protecting employee data privacy at all times and strict adherence to confidentiality and compliance policies
  • Collaborate between departments, primarily Research & Development, Surgeon Education, Contracts, and field Sales Leadership to ensure quality surgeon engagement for highest priority surgeon customers
  • Create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations to manage customer information
  • Assist with the processing and filing of expense reports on a monthly or bi-monthly basis
  • Provide project or program support, including but not limited to: budget planning, budget tracking, PO creation and vendor management. Duties will include review of proposals and agreements for the department and the ability to negotiate changes with the providers as needed prior to department head review
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma 
  • 3+ years’ experience as an administrative professional
  • High proficiency with the entire MS Office Suite 
  • Proven organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Acts with a sense of urgency and understands need for responsiveness on occasion after standard business hours
Preferred Qualifications
  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience with Concur, or other travel and expense management systems
