Job Description

This role is responsible for efficient and effective management of the Company’s global cash and banking activities, including monitoring of global cash balances, maintaining adequate controls over global cash flows, forecast corporate entity cash position, support foreign currency hedge program, and optimizing inter-company cash management.  This position provides expertise and guidance in supporting business units across the globe, and ensures cash management, account administration, internal controls and financial reporting are completed in a timely manner and in compliance with company policies and regulations. This position also supports the administration of corporate insurance program, including coordination of insurance claims.


Essential Responsibilities


Daily Treasury Operation and Cash Management (70%)

  • Responsible for daily cash management operations, including daily cash position, management of bank accounts, and bank relationships
  • Manage and administer the Company’s on-line banking platform – CashPro, including account administration, KYC document coordination and user entitlements
  • Provide high level support and act as liaison for end users of bank systems/portals, products and services
  • Manage and process intercompany fund transfers, non-routine wires, and ACH transactions
  • Forecast, monitor, track and report cash flow (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.)
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of daily processes by developing process flows and performance metrics to continuously improve and refine treasury operations
  • Support and research cash receipts and disbursements reconciliation issues. Coordinate with Finance and/or Accounting groups on treasury or cash-related information
  • Support preparation of monthly foreign currency hedge recommendations; prepare month end reports and analyses on performance of hedge program

Treasury Projects and Initiatives (10%)

  • Lead enterprise projects and initiatives by proactively identifying and incorporating new products, structures and technologies that can improve funds availability, minimize operational risk and provide cost effective processing of cash management and treasury transactions
  • Plan, coordinate and implement business process improvements that can optimize CashPro systems utilization to effectively support local and global treasury and cash management
  • Identify progressive and creative cash management solutions through the use of new products, structures and technologies
  • Meet regularly with current and new bank service providers and internal stakeholders to evaluate services and solutions
  • Provide expertise / assistance to international subsidiaries on cash management related topics, including bank account structures, netting, global pooling and funds movement
  • Support strategic assessments, including cost of capital analysis, market assessments, and partnering with external banking partners to gain market intelligence

Insurance Program Support (20%)

  • Support annual renewal of insurance policies, including collection and compilation of property information
  • Support administration of insurance certificates to the sale force and customers for contract compliance
  • Coordinate insurance claim filing

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting, including previous experience in Treasury and Cash Management
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or other related fields required
  • In-depth understanding of cash management, working capital management, SOX compliance, internal control, and development of systems and process solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements and financial statement analysis, including an ability to analyze cash flow and the impact on the financial statements
  • Broad knowledge of financial/capital markets products, including debt, derivatives, investments and foreign exchange
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Prior experience with global ERP systems and multi-national companies
  • Some experience in the use of accounting general ledger systems, treasury analytics and reporting software such as SAP, SAP/EPM, market data services such as Bloomberg, Reuters, Forex, etc
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA, CPA, CTP or certified Cash Manager 
  • Project management experience, include  financial and/or treasury system implementation experience
  • Prior experience in process/project development
  • Hands-on experience to property and casualty insurance preferred
  • Strong managerial, planning, organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of multiple on-line commercial banking portals or treasury management systems.
  • Knowledge of SWIFT Alliance and/or similar bank interface products
