Job Description
 
  • Lead Financial Support to functional area managers
  • Planning and development of functional area annual budgets (i.e. financial statements modeling, development of budgeting templates, coordination of the budgeting process across the functional areas, preparation of budget presentations for the Executive Management team, etc.)
  • Month end accruals and journal entries
  • Functional area month end close reporting packages and review meetings; includes reviewing actuals vs forecast for revenue and discretionary spend
  • Preparation of monthly business review presentations for Financial Review meetings
  • In depth revenue trend analysis in support of monthly/quarterly financial forecast updates
  • Coordination of rolling 12-month revenue forecasts with functional area managers
  • New product launch support; includes ROI modeling and CapEx planning
  • Partner closely with marketing & development teams, sales operations, demand planning and corporate support functions
  • General support (ad-hoc special projects, financial process improvements, spend pattern and business trend analysis)
Basic Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Understanding of Financial Statements (i.e. income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statements)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across an organization
  • Highly organized to complete multiple deliverables on required timeline and attention to data accuracy
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and to collaborate with all levels of management
  • Keen focus on producing high quality deliverables in a timely manner
  • Excellent command of systems - Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, Cognos, Planning systems
Preferred Qualifications
 
  • CPA and/or MBA
  • Publicly traded company experience
